Emerald Lake Lodge is the only property on secluded Emerald Lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. The lodge is twenty minutes west of Lake Louise. Originally built in 1902 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, this historic property includes 85 comfortable units situated in 24 chalet-style cabins. The units feature cozy duvets, wood burning fireplaces and balconies or patios.
Emerald Lake Lodge truly is an escape from the ordinary. Nestled on the shores of the impeccably turquoise Emerald Lake, surrounded by towering mountains, infused with the silence that can only come when cell phones have no reception, televisions are not in the rooms, and cars are not permitted to drive on property - this is a destination that could be considered paradise.
Just 20 minutes west of Lake Louise, in Yoho National Park, the lodge was originally built in 1902 and was renovated, restored and winterized in 1986. The original main lodge is still in use as our check in area, games room, lounge and restaurant, while newer, chalet-style guest accommodation was added in the 1986 renovation. The lodge has 85 guest rooms, an outdoor hot tub overlooking Emerald Lake, and several options for Rocky Mountain dining, making it the ideal location for a weekend getaway, wedding, or corporate retreat. Emerald Lake Lodge is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts(TM) family of companies.
Limited number of pet friendly rooms. Additional fee of $25 per pet, per night will apply. Maximum of 2 pets per unit. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in the national park.
