A giant moose sculpture at the old Visitor's Information
Centre, just off the TransCanada highway in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
The tiny white blob near the bottom of the photo is Rundle (PetFriendly
CEO), and beside him is Tonka (PetFriendly CFO). That should give you
an idea of just how big this moose is!

The Prairie Oasis Motel & Campground, conveniently located
near the TransCanada Highway, is a large complex that offers motel
units and suites, tenting & trailer space, a restaurant, pool
(in a separate building), and gas station. Also part of the complex
is a grocerteria, mini-golf, playground, and picnic tables. This is
a big place!
Upon arriving at the motel, we were promptly greeted by a
very friendly lady who smiled at the dogs and said, "looks
like he'd wave right back if I waved to him!".
Our room included many conveniences: a mini-fridge, stovetop,
coffee maker, microwave, fully-stocked cupboard (dishes, cups,
glasses, teapot), complimentary coffee and tea, sugar, dishcloths,
pots, pans, and even a toaster.
A colour cable TV sits in the room across from a couch.
The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. And
everyone was so friendly! We bumped into a lady while exploring
the motel complex, and she stopped to chat and pet the dogs.
Then we took a walk around the pretty City of Moosejaw
Rotary Trail System, not far from Prairie Oasis, and
again, everyone had a smile and a hello.
The City of Moose Jaw and the Prairie Oasis Motel were
wonderful places to stop with the dogs, who were made to
feel welcome.
